Sargam 2025 Commences with a Stirring Tribute to National Valour

The inaugural ceremony of Sargam 2025 unfolded with distinguished grandeur on 15th November 2025 at the Sports Ground, New Horizon Knowledge Park. Held under the patriotic and evocative theme Operation Sindoor, the ceremony radiated national pride and cultural reverence, setting an inspiring tone for the festivities ahead.

The revered Chairman, Dr Mohan Manghnani, the President, Mr Dhermesh Manghnani, the Chief Guest, Colonel P Rajnarayan – Garhwal Rifles, the Guests of Honour, Captain K C P Reddy and Wing Commander (Retd.) Julie Rosy were present on the occasion along with the Principals Dr. Manjunatha, Mr Bodhisatvan, and Dr Baswaraj of NHCE, NHCM, and NHCK respectively. They were warmly welcomed by the Sargam Core Team, whose army camouflage-themed attire created a striking visual tribute to the valour and discipline that the theme sought to embody.

The ceremony commenced with an exquisite invocation dance performed by a troupe of accomplished student classical artists, whose graceful movements sought the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva. The ambience at the inauguration enthralled the large student audience gathered from across the country and established an auspicious beginning to the proceedings. The dignitaries then proceeded to light the ceremonial lamp. This timeless act, symbolising the illumination of wisdom and the dispelling of ignorance, was observed with reverence by an enthusiastic audience drawn from institutions across the nation.

In a resonant proclamation, Dr Mohan Manghnani declared, “I hereby declare Sargam two zero two five open.” This announcement was met with spirited applause, marking the official commencement of the two-day cultural celebration. This was followed by the release of the Sargam 2025 Souvenir, an elegantly curated publication capturing the essence of Sargam’s 2025 theme ‘Operation Sindoor.’

The address by the guests offered a compelling blend of patriotism and reflection. Captain Reddy spoke with conviction on national resilience, emphasising that India’s actions are guided by courage rather than revenge. Wing Commander Julie Rosy inspired students, particularly young men, to uphold dignity and equality in their interactions with women. Colonel P Rajnarayan, decorated for his service during Operation Vijay, recounted poignant memories from the Kashmir Valley, humbly noting that he was not a hero but had the honour of walking with a few.

A token of appreciation was given to honour the guests of National importance. A dedicated felicitation ceremony was held for the sponsors whose steadfast support underpinned this fully student-led endeavour. In his interaction with the students, the Chairman spoke on the gravity of Operation Sindoor, urging them to remain united, responsible, resilient and humane in their approach to life. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and the solemn rendition of the National Anthem.
