On 13th December 2025, New Horizon College of Engineering celebrated its Silver Jubilee with a captivating “Retro”-themed Alumni Meet at the Open Stage, New Horizon Knowledge Park. This elegant gathering marked 25 years of academic distinction, institutional progress, and societal impact, drawing alumni from various batches and regions for a heartfelt journey of reconnection and reflection. 

The evening began at 5:00 PM with registration, where returning graduates were warmly welcomed, fostering immediate reunions and convivial exchanges. The formal programme commenced at 6:00 PM with Vande Mataram, followed by a graceful invocation dance that infused the proceedings with reverence and inspiration. 

The Senior Director of the Career Development Centre delivered a gracious welcome address, highlighting the vital role of alumni in the college’s evolution and their successes as proof of its enduring values. A poignant “Silver Horizon Legacy” video traced the institution’s journey from inception to this milestone, showcasing key achievements and distinguished alumni in a moving tribute. 

The Principal offered heartfelt thanks for the alumni’s ongoing contributions, while reflecting on the dynamic educational landscape. The Chairman, in a visionary speech, recounted the college’s 25-year odyssey, expressed pride in its accomplishments, and emphasised continued alumni engagement. In a touching gesture, he felicitated the inaugural batch, who shared fond recollections, followed by honours for those who had studied at both New Horizon School and College. 

A short film on alumni memories evoked deep emotion, rekindling cherished bonds with the alma mater. Esteemed graduates then shared personal stories of challenges, growth, and the college’s profound influence testimonies to its commitment to holistic development. 

The cultural segment dazzled with vibrant dance performances, group singing, and a stylish fashion show, celebrating the community’s rich diversity. A vote of thanks expressed profound gratitude to all involved, concluding the formalities with the National Anthem in unified pride. The evening soared with a lively concert by acclaimed artist Avinash Chebbi, blending classic and contemporary melodies that energised the crowd and revived joyful memories. 

A sumptuous gala dinner followed, offering exquisite cuisine in a relaxed ambience perfect for deeper conversations and new connections. The night ended with the presentation of bespoke commemorative gifts, symbolic tokens of gratitude for the alumni’s unwavering support. 

The Alumni Meet 2025 was a resounding triumph, it was a blend of nostalgia, celebration, and optimism. It honoured the past while strengthening ties for the future, reaffirming New Horizon College of Engineering’s luminous legacy and the enduring solidarity of its distinguished alumni.
