Ethnic Day -Threads of Tradition and Rhythms of Unity

Ethnic Day 2025 at New Horizon College of Engineering was a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and unity, held on 10th May 2025. The campus came alive with colour, tradition, and excitement as students and staff embraced the theme—“Threads of Tradition and Rhythms of Unity.”

The festivities began at 11:00 AM with an Inter-Departmental Fashion Show in the New Horizon Auditorium, where students showcased the rich heritage of India through elegant traditional attire. The ramp walk was more than just a display of fashion—it was a tribute to the diverse cultural roots that define our nation.

The energy soared in the afternoon at 3:00 PM with a Flash Mob and DJ performance at the Open Stage. Students danced with infectious enthusiasm, celebrating togetherness through music and movement. Laughter and cheer echoed throughout the area as everyone joined in the fun. Complementing the lively atmosphere were Food Stalls offering an array of regional and traditional delicacies. These stalls were a major attraction, giving everyone a taste of India’s culinary richness.

Throughout the day, the college campus was adorned with the vibrant colours of ethnic wear, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere. The event successfully brought together students and faculty in a shared celebration of heritage and harmony.
