Entrepreneurship and Skill Development
On February 18, 2025, NHCE-IIC hosted a Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Program in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the Department of Management Studies, ED, and the Startup Club. The initiative aimed to equip government school students with essential skills and entrepreneurial knowledge for future careers and self-employment.
Participants gained practical insights through real-world problem-solving, projects, and simulations while exploring career options such as freelancing and self-employment. The event enhanced public speaking, analytical thinking, and creativity while promoting collaboration, team management, and effective task execution. Students learned about business operations, money management, investments, and savings and were introduced to various fields, including technology, agriculture, retail, and services.
The program encouraged innovation, creativity, and risk-taking, raising awareness of entrepreneurship and financial aid programs. Ultimately, it inspired responsibility, prepared students for business creation, equipped them with job-ready skills, and sparked their interest in developing new products and solutions, focusing on enhancing employability and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
