A Salute in Rhythm: Students Bring India’s Heroes to Life in ‘Hind ke Veer’

Sargam’s 2025 proudly presented its Mega Event, Hind ke Veer, a remarkable celebration of courage, patriotism, and the unbreakable unity of our nation. The programme was not just a stage performance, but a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting India. Through a series of vibrant and powerful storytelling and dances, the event honoured the Indian Army, freedom fighters, and countless guardians who have shaped the destiny of our beloved country.

In Hind ke Veer, students brought these stories to life through dance and exceptional storytelling. They explored both historical and modern moments where the Indian Army displayed outstanding strength and unity. Some performances portrayed the triumph of major military victories, highlighting how discipline, teamwork, and sheer willpower can overcome the toughest of obstacles.

The participants used expressive movements, vivid choreography, and meaningful music to capture emotions that words often cannot convey. From sequences that depicted the struggle and determination of soldiers marching into battle, to softer moments that reflected the quiet sacrifices made by families waiting for their loved ones, every act connected the audience to the human stories behind the uniform.

What made the event particularly inspiring was the way it encouraged students to understand and appreciate the extraordinary efforts of those who keep India safe. By performing these pieces, the participants not only showcased their talent yet at the same time, developed a deeper sense of gratitude and connection to their country.

Jain University won the first prize in Category I, while BMS College of Engineering finished as the runners-up. In Category II, New Horizon College, Kasturinagar, won the first prize. The event stood as a beautiful message of unity, that all Indians share a bond of respect for the heroes who defend the nation.
