Team Composition:

Each team should consist of 2 members.

Game Rules:
1. First Round (Time-Trial round): Each machine will complete 2 laps on the track one by one, out of which its fastest lap time will be considered.
2. Second Round : The top teams from the qualifying rounds will make it to this round.
3. Checkpoints: If a machine tumbles, or halts, or goes off the arena at any point on the track, one of the team members is allowed to lift it up and place it at the checkpoint the track that point time being counted. Please note that the team will be disqualified if they happen to restart at the checkpoint three times.
4. Race Start: While starting a race if any of the machines take off before the flag is waved or the countdown, the race will be restarted and the machines will get a second chance to start the race. However, if any machine takes off before the waving of the flag or countdown for a second time, it will be disqualified.
5. Team Members: There can be only two team members in the arena during the race. Once the race begins, team members cannot touch the machine unless required for a restart from the beginning.
6. Machine Integrity: The machines are not allowed to leave any loose parts in the arena. Any machine disintegrating during the race will be disqualified.
7. Fair Play: Teams are not allowed to purposely damage the machine of the opponent’s team. If found doing so on track (while racing), or even outside the racing arena, the concerned team will be disqualified.

EV Machines Specifications:

• Dimensions: Maximum dimensions of the machine during the entire course of the race is 600mm x 400mm x 400mm (Length x Width x Height).
• Control: Mechanisms such as steering can be controlled using DC motors and servos.
• Power Supply: There must be an on-board power supply for any electrically operated mechanisms which should not exceed 12 volts at any time. Please note that teams will have tobring extra batteries along.
• Parts: Some parts such as gears, differential gear, engine, springs, shock absorbers, servomotors, batteries, wheels and wheel hub can be purchased and used directly.
• Chassis: Chassis has to be fabricated by the team itself. Use of any Lego parts and assembly kits for chassis is not allowed and may lead to disqualification.
• Suspension Mechanisms: Use of suspension mechanisms is advised for better functioning. However, it is not necessary to incorporate them.
• Remote Control: Mode of control of the machine should be Wireless. Participants are required to use a remote control with the frequency spectrum of 2.4 GHz.
