DESCRIPTION

Welcome to the Project Expo, organized by EMSYS NEX GEN Club of New horizon college of engineering. This event aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their innovative projects, share ideas, and interact with judges and visitors. The following rules and guidelines are designed to ensure a fair, safe, and organized event, promoting creativity and professionalism.

Project Demo:
Each team will have 3-5 minutes to present their project to the Presentations must be concise, clear
Interaction with Judges and Visitors:
Be polite and professional when answering questions or addressing
Display Area:
Teams are responsible for keeping their display area clean and Ensure that all project equipment is safe and does not obstruct

General Guidelines

Team Composition:
Each team should consist of 2 members.

Registration:
All participants must complete registration prior to the event and report at the indoor basketball stadium by 10:30 AM

Student ID:
Participants must carry a valid student ID card from their institution and present it at the time of registration.

Teams must adhere to the event
Setup Time:
A 30-minute setup window (10:30 AM – 11:00 AM) will be provided to all teams.
Teams are responsible for ensuring their displays are ready by 11:00

Supplies and Equipment
Required Materials:
Teams must bring all necessary materials, equipment, and tools for their project.

Safety:
All materials and equipment used should follow general safety Hazardous materials are strictly Prohibitied

Judging Criteria and Decisions
Judging Time:
Judging will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 Judges may visit projects in any order.
Criteria:
Innovation and originality of the Practicality and real-world Presentation skills and team

Final Decision:
The decision of the judging panel and event coordinators will be final and binding.
No appeals regarding judging outcomes will be enetrtained

Code of Conduct
Behavioral Expectations:
Participants are expected to behave respectfully with fellow participants, visitors, and organizers.
Any form of misconduct will lead to disqualification

Punctuality and Discipline:
Teams must stick to the allotted schedule and avoid disrupting other teams
Rule Changes:
Organizers reserve the right to amend the rules as deemed
Any changes will be communicated to registered participants via email or on-site announcements.

Post-Event Protocols
Clean-Up:
Teams must pack up their projects and leave the display area immediately after the expo ends.
Dispose of waste materials
Feedback:
Participants are encouraged to submit feedback about the event to help improve future addition.

Emergency and Support
Technical Assistance:
Club members will be available on-site to assist with any technical issues (e.g., power, Wi-Fi, equipment setup).
