Parakram Divas Commemorated with Patriotic Fervour at NHCE

New Horizon College of Engineering observed Parakram Divas, the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, with solemn respect and a strong sense of national pride at the Falconry Seminar Hall, Subhash Chandra Bose Block.

The programme commenced with the National Song, setting a dignified and patriotic atmosphere for the gathering, which included the Principal, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and students. An invocation song followed, creating a serene ambience that reflected collective reverence for Netaji’s legacy. The ceremonial lamp lighting by the dignitaries symbolised the triumph of knowledge over ignorance and underscored the values of unity, wisdom, and enlightenment.

A narration on the life and contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose highlighted his formative years, visionary leadership, and unparalleled commitment to India’s freedom movement. The address emphasised his indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism, and selfless service to the nation, leaving a deep impact on the audience.

In his keynote address, the Principal urged the academic community to cultivate innovation, critical thinking, and creativity as a means of contributing to nation-building, drawing inspiration from Netaji’s ideals. A patriotic musical performance further enriched the programme, invoking a strong sense of unity and national consciousness.

The event concluded with reflections on the significance of Parakram Divas, emphasising Netaji’s enduring values of courage, sacrifice, and resolute patriotism, followed by a Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem. The observance left the audience inspired, reaffirming the timeless relevance of Netaji’s ideals in contemporary society.
