A mini food computer is a device that creates a stimulated environment by controlling temperature and humidity in a closed space. The stimulated environment for any particular plant or a crop to grow under specific required conditions. The project mainly deals with the following criteria (such as moisture, temperature, humidity, water level). It also takes data and sends it in real time to an external device such as a phone. This device allows the user to save a lot of time, energy, water and gives better yield. The Bluetooth module allows the user to interact with the device. The device sends notification to the
user’s mobile if the parameters are not appropriately satisfying the given conditions. A variety of crops and vegetables can be easily grown using this device at home or at any environment (for example a strawberry plant can be grown in a desert and cactus in snow falling area with the help of this device). The device has a camera monitoring system which is used to track the growth and health of the plant. This is achieved by the technique of machine learning, the camera monitors each and every momentary growth of the plant and the health condition of the plant. There is a voice module that allows the user to communicate with the device and it tells all the functions that are currently in progress. The main usage is to deliver a higher growth success rate of the plants. In times of natural calamities, this could save the farmers from undergoing huge losses. So if you need strawberries growing in your backyard or be self sustained with pesticide free organic yield, this is your ultimate way out!
