 The NCC Unit of our college proudly organised the Pipping Ceremony, a moment of honour celebrating cadets who had earned their new ranks through determination, discipline, and service. The event reflected the core values of the NCC – Unity, Discipline, and Leadership, and recognised the cadets’ transition to greater responsibilities.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome address, followed by an inspiring speech by the Associate NCC Officer, who spoke about the importance of leadership, teamwork, and perseverance in the journey of every cadet. His words motivated the young cadets to continue upholding the ideals of the NCC both on and beyond the parade ground.

The highlight of the event was the pipping of ranks – Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant, Company Quarter Master Sergeant (CQMS), Company Sergeant Major (CSM), Company Junior Under Officer (CJUO), and Company Senior Under Officer (CSUO). Each rank symbolised not only a promotion but also an increased sense of responsibility towards the unit and fellow cadets. The ceremony acknowledged the consistent effort, training, and dedication shown by each cadet in earning their stripes.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, followed by the rendition of the NCC Song and the National Anthem, instilling a strong sense of pride and patriotism among all present. The Pipping Ceremony stood as a testament to the cadets’ commitment and the spirit of service that defines the NCC experience.
