The National Voluntary Blood Donation Day was commemorated on 1st October 2024 at Nirvana, organized by the NSS, NCC, and Leo Club in collaboration with NIMHANS Blood Bank and Lions Blood Center, Bangalore. Centered around the theme “Celebrating 20 Years of Giving: Thank You, Blood Donors!”, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students.

Guided by Principal Dr. Manjunatha and Registrar Mr. H.N. Suryaprakash, the drive successfully collected 234 units of blood. Dr. Manjunatha commended the efforts of the NSS Programme Officer and the volunteers for their dedication. The blood banks expressed their appreciation by awarding certificates of recognition to the college.

The event concluded with a powerful reminder of the life-saving importance of voluntary blood donation and the impact it creates in transforming lives.
