Department of MCA coordinated with R&D Department and organised the event “Karnataka Smart Village Hackathon” on 10-04-2018 & 11-04-2018. More than 300 students participated from various States of the Country. Eminent Scientists, Educationalists and Industry Experts from reputed organisations presided the function. Some of them were Dr. S . Ayyappan, Hon’ble Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal. Mr. Ganagl M I, Chief General Manager, NABARD. Mr. Ganesh, Head-Education&Research,IBM System. Dr. Mohanty, Asian Regional Director , International Potato Centre, VIETNAM. Dr. D.L.Maheswar, Vice Chancellor, University of Horticulture Science, Bagalkot. Apart from this more than 50 delegates had presented their ideas to the students and participants. Ten best teams were selected. NHCE students Won the First Prize and Second Prize in Hardware Section and also Won First Prize in Software Section. NHCE team won Five domain related prizes also.
