The Founder’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in New Horizon College of Engineering on 07th July 2023. At 1:45 pm, Dr. Mohan Manghnani, the founder and chairman, arrived at our campus and welcomed him in the traditional way by performing aarti and putting a tilak on his forehead. He paid a visit to the temple and received God’s blessing and also Saptha Bramhins Ayusha blessing. His welcome was marked by dance form tuning to Kantara song.

The celebration started with the welcome address by student emcee and a beautiful dance on Lord Ganesha marked the beginning of the cultural presentation and Dr. Sowmya Narayanan, Head – Centre for Life skills and Lifelong Learning, spoke about founder & his achievements, followed by the felicitation of chairman by the principal and other members. Various competitions were held at NHCE on occasion of Founder’s Day and the winning students were awarded with a cheque & the certificate by chairman.

The cultural program was kick started with beautiful Bollywood dance, followed by Rasleela a Lord Krishna themed dance performance, street dance and Ramayana. Finally chairman sir announced the much-awaited Sargam 2023 fest date & theme i.e. is “Ramleela”.

NHCE Rotaract club & Leo club in association with BMST organized a Blood Donation Camp at NHCE on the occasion of Founder’s Day, around 306 donors donated 350ml – 450ml of blood and a certificate of appreciation were received from BMST for excellent response from donors and volunteers.

The event concluded with the vote of thanks and distributed the snacks to all staff members and students.
