A) NCC CATC/IDSSC/TSC:
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India.The organization helps in development of youth of the voluntary into disciplined and patriotic citizens.
The camp was a 10-day IDSSC/TSC/CATC organized by 4/6 COY 7 Karnataka Battalion NCC, at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Our camp was designed with the theme “ Unity and Discipline”. There were around 400 cadets from all over Karnataka.
B) COMMUNITY SERVICE CAMP REPORT (26th April 2022)
“We rise by lifting others”
New Horizon Educational Institutes adopted 93 tribal villages in the Bandipur, Nagarwala and Kabini forest areas; we took this opportunity to come forward and lend a hand in ensuring them a better life and improved living conditions. Every human, be it an adult or a child, deserves to live their life with basic essentials and facilitates and this is what we are hoping to give them through this camp.
The community service camp was conducted on 26th April 2022. Our destination for this camp was Varthihalli village and Rani Gate 16thHadi in Nagarwala forest. We were welcomed by Mr. Suryanarayanji (Bajarangdal national Vice-President and Leader of Vishwa Hindu Parishath) and Mr. Girish (tribal representative).
