On July 7th, 2023, New Horizon College of Engineering hosted a successful blood donation camp, organized by the NCC cadets under the guidance of CTO Ravikumar Sir. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage participation from students, faculty, and staff. Collaborating with medical professionals from BMST, the camp ensured the safe collection, storage, and handling of blood. NCC cadets played a crucial role in maintaining safety protocols, assisting donors, and creating a comfortable environment. They also provided post-donation care and managed the camp’s logistics, including crowd control and social distancing. The initiative received an overwhelming response, with many coming forward to donate, demonstrating the college’s commitment to social responsibility.
