We are glad to inform you that Department of Physical Education and sports science of New Horizon College of Engineering had organized State level Inter Collegiate Sports Fest for the students of Engineering colleges under the title AZURA 2018. The tournaments are conducted from 2nd to 4th April 2018. The Annual sports fest of NHCE was inaugurated by Mr. A V Srinivas Gowda (International Basket Ball Player) Dr. Manjunatha Principal of New Horizon College of Engineering and joined by other dignitaries of NHCE.

Over 60 engineering colleges and about 1500 sports persons from the nook and corners of the state had participated in the tournament spread over a period of Three days.

The Tournament are conducted in eight disciplines, which include Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Kabaddi, and Badminton for both Men and Women.

The Valedictory Ceremony of the AZURA 2018 held on 4th April 2018 at 4.30 P.M at Outdoor Basket Ball Court. The Chief Guest of the function Mr. SNVL Narasimha Raju chairmen of Oxford Engineering college, Mr. Ganesh K (Inter National Volleyball player)and Dr. Mohan Maghnani chairmen of New Horizon College Engineering and joined by other dignitaries of NHCE
