The Army Attachment Camp held at the Pioneer Corps Training Centre from 5th to 16th August 2025 was a remarkable blend of physical endurance, military training, and discipline.

Cadets were introduced to 5.56mm INSAS rifles and LMGs, the No.36 hand grenade, and also practiced realistic aiming through the Drone weapon simulator.

Visits to the Madras Engineering Group & Centre (7th Aug) and the Parachute Regiment Training Centre (13th Aug) gave cadets an inspiring look into the regiments’ heritage, weaponry, and their contribution to the forces. Activities like ambush party drills, sports competitions, and a challenging cross-country run further tested both physical stamina and teamwork.

The camp not only enriched cadets with tactical skills and exposure to Army life but also instilled discipline, leadership, and respect for the armed forces-serving as a motivating step for those aspiring to join the nation’s Defence.
