The Computer Society of India, student chapter of NHCE has been actively conducting competitions, workshops and faculty development programmes for the benefit of both students and faculty.
In order to enhance the employability skills and readiness of CSE, ISE and MCA students, the student chapter has planned to conduct a “Coding contest” on 27 April 2022. There are two levels in the contest. First level will be conducted in the respective departments. Ten teams (2 members per team) will be selected for the next level (CSE=4, ISE=3, MCA=3). Second level is a common level which will be conducted in CSE department. The winners will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

Students must hunt for code bits placed in the college campus. There will be 3 different rounds. The first one to solve the code from each round wins.

Pitch Mania is a business-based event in which aspiring entrepreneurs in our college or students with an out of the box idea pitch their business models to a judge panel.
This event comprises of two rounds:
Round 1: Students can pitch their ideas for their startups either individually or as a group of at most 4.
Round 2: The shortlisted ideas from the first round are advanced to Round 2 where they are judged by Alumni entrepreneurs.
The main outcome of this event is to encourage budding entrepreneurs or students to pitch their ideas without fear and to provide a safe space for their ideas to come into limelight.
