AITSC (All India Thal Sainik Camp) Selection Process – 2025

The All India Thal Sainik Camp (AITSC) is one of the most prestigious events in NCC, where cadets undergo training and selection in key subjects such as Map Reading (MR), Judging Distance and Field Signals (JDFS), Health and Hygiene (H&H), and Obstacle Training (OT), all of which test precision, endurance, intelligence, and discipline.

PRE TSC IGC 1
Pre TSC IGC–1 was conducted from 13th June 2025 to 22nd June 2025 at ETI AFS, Jalahalli, where cadets underwent structured and intensive training under Group supervision. The focus was on improving accuracy, teamwork, and consistency in all four subjects. After evaluation, twelve cadets from our college were retained for the next phase, continuing their preparation with improved performance standards.

PRE TSC IGC 2
Pre TSC IGC–2 was organised from 25th June 2025 to 2nd July 2025 at ETI AFS, Jalahalli. At this level, the training intensity increased significantly, and cadets were tested under conditions similar to Inter-Group Competition standards. Emphasis was placed on speed, precision, and mental resilience. From our college, eight cadets successfully cleared this level and moved forward to the next stage.

PRE TSC IGC 3
Pre TSC IGC–3 was conducted from 7th July 2025 to 14th July 2025 at ETI AFS, Jalahalli, serving as the final filtering stage before the Inter-Group Competition. Cadets competed rigorously in Map Reading, Judging Distance and Field Signals, Health and Hygiene, and Obstacle Training. Four cadets from our college were shortlisted to represent the Group at the Inter-Group Competition.

The Inter-Group Competition (IGC)
The Inter-Group Competition (IGC) took place in Mysore from 17th July 2025 to 26th July 2025, bringing together the top-performing cadets from all Groups under the Directorate. This stage was highly competitive and critical for Directorate-level selection. From our college, CJUO Shreya R C qualified for Directorate-level Pre TSC training based on her performance in Map Reading.

PRE TSC 1
Pre TSC–1 was conducted in Mysore from 27th July 2025 to 5th August 2025, where selected cadets underwent advanced training aligned with national standards. Continuous evaluation, discipline, and subject mastery were the primary focus areas. From our college, CJUO Shreya R C successfully continued to the next stage.

PRE TSC 2
The final stage, Pre TSC–2 Kitting Camp, was held in Mysore from 10th August 2025 to 19th August 2025. This was the most demanding phase before the formation of the Directorate contingent for AITSC. Cadets were evaluated on overall readiness, performance consistency, and discipline. From our college, CJUO Shreya R C reached this advanced level, which stands as a significant achievement for the institution, even though she was not selected for the final All India Thal Sainik Camp contingent.

Overall, each stage of the AITSC 2025 journey strengthened the cadets’ technical knowledge, physical endurance, discipline, leadership qualities, and confidence, bringing recognition and pride to our institution under the banner of the National Cadet Corps.
