ADVENTURES TRIP TO GOKARNA ON 29TH JUNE 2023.

New Horizon College of Engineering, Rotaract club organized a 2 day & 1 night adventures trip to Gokarna on 29th June 2023.

Beach adventure camps offer a unique opportunity to combine the thrill of outdoor activities with the serenity and beauty of the beach environment. These camps provide an immersive experience that encourages participants to step out of their comfort zones, embrace nature, and engage in a wide range of thrilling adventures.

The travel itinerary was – Visit to Mahabaleshwar Temple, Mirjan Fort, Gokarna Beach Hiking, Apsarakonda falls, Mangrove boardwalk and Amazing Rotaract Club Activity and Movie Screening.

Day 1 students visited to Mahabaleshwar Temple, beach and Mirjan Fort a diverse and enriching experience combining spirituality, natural beauty, and historical exploration. The temple visit provided a serene and contemplative atmosphere, allowing individuals to connect with their spiritual beliefs and traditions. Moving on to the beach, the trip takes a refreshing turn as the beauty of the coastline unfolds. The soft sand, gentle waves and vast expanse of the sea provide a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and recreation. Students started to engage in beach activities, such as swimming, sunbathing, or playing beach games, creating a sense of adventure and enjoyment. The journey then leads to the historic Mirjan Fort, where students can delve into the past and explore the architectural grandeur.

In the evening Rotaract Club conducted an activity named Amazing Race which had wonderful group activity; there was a series of levels which students had to cross in order to emerge as winner, the students really showed the excitement level to max in the activity.

Day 2 kicked off early in the morning beach hiking as the sun rises over the horizon, casting a warm glow on the sandy shores, students embark on a journey of exploration  setting  off  in  the  early  morning  hours & which allowed  hikers  to  witness  the beach in its purest form, undisturbed by the crowds and noise of the day. As students make their way along the coastline, they are greeted by breathtaking views of the vast expanse of the sea, the pristine sands, and the surrounding natural beauty & amazing water crossing.

Next, students made their way towards the Apsarakonda falls, as they approached Apsarakonda falls, they were greeted by the soothing sound of water flowing and the lush greenery surrounding the area. The waterfall, nestled amidst rocky terrain, creates a picturesque setting that invites exploration.

Finally, the journey then leads to the Mangroove boardwalk as they step onto the boardwalk, they are immediately enveloped by the sights, sounds, and scents of the mangroves and students walking along the boardwalk, students were treated to breathtaking views of the mangrove.
