- New Horizon College of Engineering has Won Championship Trophies Powerlifting (Women) Champions Powerlifting (Men) Runners in VTU State Level Powerlifting (M&W) at the Competition held at GOGTE Institute Of Technology, Belagavi on 7th and 8th September 2023.
- Happy to share that the students of Electrical & Electronics Engineering have won FIRST place in three competitions conducted by Jain University during the intercollegiate fest “INFINITY” on 18th April 2023.
- We are happy to announce that four students from department of Automobile Engineering have secured 1st runner-up position among 86 teams in the Design and Innovation Clinic 2023 organised by Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), GOI
- 43 final year student projects of New Horizon College of Engineering during the AY 2022-23, have been selected for funding from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST) under 46th series of SPP.
- IEEE Bengaluru Section has awarded ” Most Promising Student Branch Award-2022″ to IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering on 8th January 2023.
- New Horizon College of Engineering is the Winner of VTU State Level Championship in Tug of War(Men), held on 4th January 2023 at SVIT- Bangalore.

- New Horizon College of Engineering has been adjudged as recipient of the “Certificate of Appreciation” at The Institution of Engineers(India) – Engineering Education Excellence Award for the contribution in the field of Engineering Education Ceremony held on 16th December 2022 at Chennai. Received the award from Dr. K Ponmudy, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of Tamil Nadu and Dr Sivathanu Pillai, Founder CEO & MD of BrahMos Aerospace, Former Chief Controller (R&D), DRDO.
- New Horizon College of Engineering is awarded as Excellence in Industry linked technical Education by the Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade in collaboration with SIDBI , MSME, GoI at “Brand10000SMEs 2022” award ceremony on 24th Sept’2022 in presence of 100+ MSMEs along with various stakeholders.
- New Horizon College of Engineering has been Ranked 121 amongst the Top Engineering Colleges across India, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022) Rankings, announced by MHRD, Govt.of India.

We are beyond proud to announce that Gayathri Nivedha, BE, Civil Engineering student (final year), has been awarded the prestigious “Youth Ambassador Award” from the (IWWA) Indian Water Work Association for 2021-2022. The award was presented by Ashutosh Tandon, Minister for Urban Development of Uttar Pradesh, and President of IWWA, Mr. P. K. Sinha.
Every year IWWA selects 3 youngsters across India for active and notable performance in the water and sanitation management sector for events including a skit, seminar, article writing, and Swach Bharath Mission Programmes.Congratulations Gayathri, your accomplishments are an inspiration for all students who aspire to be achievers.#StudentAchievers - Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is a path-breaking policy initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India implemented through AICTE and MoE’s Innovation Cell to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to promotion and support of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.

- We are Happy to announce our NHCE Student Sainath (7 Semester) has Successfully received SSTV images from the INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS) using his own Ground Station built by him at his house. This is a memorial event to honour Owen Garriott -W5WFL, First person to operate amateur radio from space. Amateur Radio (HAM) helps disaster management, Worldwide when all our communications failed!, Sainath has received the SSTV Award for submitting the decoded SSTV TRANSMISSION from ISS.
- We are very happy to announce that Sanketh, our student from NHCE had applied for the ‘Secure and Private AI Scholarship Challenge’ Sponsored by Facebook at Udacity and is one of 5000 students selected out of the 7 Lakh + Applications across the Globe. He is also handling the coordination and Point of Contact (PoC) of the Challenge.

- We are happy to announce that Mr. Rohit Mulay (1NH15CS106) of 7th Sem from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has Secured a Job at IBM India, though the R&D Cell at NHCE as a Software Developer with the base package up to 12 LPA and will be joining as a Full-time Intern (6 Months) from January, 2019 with monthly Stipend of Rs.30,000/-. They have also given him an opportunity to join MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA) after 2 years for his higher studies.
- Very happy to share with you that 13 of our study-abroad students who attended the IBM Open Power Summit in Amsterdam recently, have won the 2nd and 3rd place in the Hackathon event; among participants from a good number of countries.
- Department of Management Studies, New Horizon College of Engineering has been awarded “MTC Global Outstanding Industry Institute Interaction Award” at World Edu Summit 2018 on 8th September.
- The project entitled “Coupled Process integrating heavy metal bioremediation and biodiesel production” from the dept. of Biotechnology won the Best project of the year prize under the Biofuels category at state level projects exhibition held in BIET Davangere by Karnataka State Council for science and technology (KSCST).

- NEW BENGALURU for NEW INDIA initiated by BJP govt conducted competition on 8 major issues of Bengaluru among colleges. The team of students submited solution under each category in the form of PPT through online. New Horizon bagged 3 prizes(NHC-01, NHCE-02). These students will be receiving cash prize and certificate from Prime Minister/Amit Shah in person.
- 14 (Fourteen) students project teams of the Final Year from Automobile Engineering, Biotechnology and Mechanical Engineering have been selected for funding from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST ) Congratulations to all the student teams who got the awards
