A REPORT ON TRIBAL COMMUNITY DONATION CAMP

New Horizon College of Engineering in collaboration with Rotaract Club and NSS Club organized a donation camp for tribal community from 04th to 15th April 2023. NHEI had adopted over 100+ tribes in the Bandipur and Kabini forest areas, so college has taken the opportunity to step forward and lend a hand in ensuring them a better life and improved living conditions. Every human, be it an adult or a child, deserves to live their life with basic essentials and facilitates and this is what the college is hoping to give them through this camp.

 

The camp started on 04th April 2023 at 9:30 AM. The donors were already queued with their donations as they were informed about the camp in advance. The teaching and non-teaching staff along with students has come forward to make a difference. They donated clothes, shoes, play equipment, bags and many more things. In all, the volunteers were able to collect 100+ units of essential commodities from the donors. These valuable units will be sent to the tribal communities of Bandipur. The camp went on till the 15th of April 2023 with the same enthusiasm as the day it started. On the last day of the camp, volunteers were all set for the segregation as it would be easier for the distribution. The donations were segregated and packed in the following categories.
