New Horizon College of Engineering celebrated its UG Graduation Day Ceremony 2026 on 25^th July 2026 at the New Horizon Auditorium, marking a proud milestone for 1,152 undergraduate graduates from eight engineering departments.

The ceremony commenced with a grand academic procession led by Dr. Vijilius H. Raj, Controller of Examinations, followed by Dr. Manjunatha M., Principal, the Chief Guests, the Academic Council members, and NCC cadets. The event was formally inaugurated with the National Song and NAADA Geethe.

The ceremony was conducted in two sessions, with Dr. Gopal Krishna Patra, Director -CSIR – National Institute of Data Science and AI, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and Mr. Amit Mannan, Vice President & Head of Network R&D, Samsung R&D Institute India, Bengaluru serving as the Chief Guests for the morning and afternoon sessions, respectively. Their inspiring addresses encouraged graduates to pursue excellence, innovation, and ethical leadership.

The graduating batch showcased exceptional academic performance, with 1105 students graduating with Distinction, 17 students receiving Honours, and 70 University ranks awarded across the institution in accordance with university guidelines.

The highlight of the event was the grand Presentation of Awards to the Toppers, recognising their exceptional academic performance and dedication. Ms. Anu Philomen D’Silva from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) was recognised as the College Topper for her outstanding academic achievement. Pradeeksha K. S. from Computer Science and Engineering, Shreyas R. Gowda from Electronics and Communication Engineering, Khushi Nagaraj from Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), Anuradha Bhagat from Information Science and Engineering, G. R. Yashwanth from Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Nivedita Niran from Computer Engineering, and Satvik Krishna Singh from Mechanical Engineering were honoured as the toppers of their respective branches. 

The atmosphere was one of celebration and pride as accomplished students were honoured before their peers and faculty. The ceremony concluded with the Graduation Pledge and the National Anthem, celebrating the graduates’ achievements and wishing them success as they embark on their professional journeys.
