15th August 2022 is indeed a milestone as we celebrate 75 years of Independence. Har Ghar Tiranga is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

This day fills us with pride and glory when we reminisce about the journey that our country undertook from being just a ‘colony’ to rebelling against the status of ‘dominion’ to finally achieving ‘Purna Swaraj’. We pay homage to all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the freedom and security of our motherland.

New Horizon College of Engineering has distributed Indian flags to students and staff members on the 12th August 2022.

The students and staff members have been encouraged “to observe the flag code and give due respect to our National Flag”.

Let us remember the golden heritage of our country and feel proud to be an Indian.
