Mentoring Event on Poster Presentation of Business Plans and Mentor Linkage
The Department of Management Studies, ED and Start-up Club, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council, organised a Mentoring Event on Poster Presentation of Business Plans and Mentor Linkage from 30 April 2025 to 4 May 2026. The event provided MBA 2nd Semester students with a valuable platform to present innovative business ideas and entrepreneurial concepts.
Participants showcased their ideas through poster presentations, which enhanced their ability to communicate business concepts effectively and confidently. The session was evaluated by esteemed jury members Dr Rose Kavitha, Dr Sreoshi Dasgupta, and Dr Priyameet Keer Kaur. Their expert feedback helped students understand important aspects such as market feasibility, customer requirements, business sustainability, and financial planning.
The activity enabled students to develop essential entrepreneurial skills and practical business knowledge. It also strengthened critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities among the participants. The event encouraged teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence while presenting ideas before mentors and peers. Exposure to a wide range of innovative business concepts broadened students’ perspectives on entrepreneurship and start-up development.
The jury evaluated the presentations based on innovation, feasibility, clarity of ideas, and presentation quality. Section-wise Best and Second-Best Awards were presented to recognise outstanding business ideas and encourage healthy competition among students. Overall, the event successfully bridged theoretical learning with practical application and motivated students to further refine their business ideas for future entrepreneurial endeavours.
