The IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering is the largest student branch in the IEEE Bangalore Section and actively contributes to technology innovation, research collaboration, and professional development for engineering students.

The IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) is the largest student branch in the IEEE Bangalore Section. The IEEE Bangalore Section is governed by the IEEE India Council, which falls under Region 10 of the IEEE Global Organization.

About IEEE Bangalore Section

The IEEE Bangalore Section was established in 1977 and is one of the most vibrant sections in India. Over the years, the membership strength has grown steadily and includes professionals from industry, academia, and research organizations.

The Bangalore Section consists of 16 Society Chapters and two affinity groups including Graduate of the Last Decade (GOLD) and Women in Engineering (WIE).

The section regularly organizes technical talks, seminars, tutorials, workshops, and collaborative events to promote knowledge sharing and innovation.

Student Activities

Close to half of the section’s membership consists of student members spread across various engineering colleges in Karnataka.
