A free health camp was arranged under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell a Flagship Program of MHRD, Govt of India by Department of management studies, New Horizon College Of Engineering in association with VYDEHI HOSPITAL on 13th February 2023. 10 doctors were present from Vydehi Hospital, more than 12 students took active participation as coordinators.
The Free Health checkup camp started with a small inaugural by the village representatives/Gram Panchayat and doctors lighting the lamps. Followed by invocation song was sung by Student coordinator Kishor. Later the village representatives & doctors were welcomed by prof. Saumi Roy & Prof. Shalini by presenting saplings. One of the village representatives expressed his gratitude on behalf of the whole village.
The health checkup camp included General medicine, Heart checkup- echo/ ecg , eye checkup etc. Student coordinators were engaged with coordinating with the doctors and the village people who were coming to get a checkup, provided assistance to elderly people. The health camp run from 10:30am to 3:00 pm

The free health camp was a success, around 150 villagers from nearby villages were benefitted. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the management of NHCE and Vydehi Hospital for their support .
